Frequently Asked Questions
What is this site and how do I use it?
hrefs.com is a starting point for any in-depth web-based research. We take your queries and provide lists of links to many of the world's most popular sites, with your keywords being passed right into their search feature.
What is an href?
Well, the "code" to create a simple HTML hyperlink is
<a href="http://example.com">Click</a>. Therefore, we think it is implied that "href" means the "target of a web link". We have taken the plural, which suggests "multiple links". For web designers the domain should be easy to remember. For others it may take some getting used to, although it is nice and short, which does tend to make things easier. ;-)
